Mackdaline is in her 4th year of high school.

Her father is a mason but very little work available.  Her mother is the cook/housekeeper for Starthrower in Cap-Haitien.

Her brother Frandzy, who was at the time in his 1rst year of university, was killed in the Jan 12 earthquake.  Her youngest brother Ernst died of an ear infection 5 years ago.  She has 1 younger sister.

15 living in their house as relatives who lost everything have moved in.
