Myriame is in her 5th year of high school.

She lives in Cap-Haitian with an aunt and her ailing parents.

She was at school during the Jan 12 2010 earthquake – The aunt who was supporting her died in the earthquake.  School was destroyed, all her classmates and teachers were killed.
